A multicenter phase 2 trial in China evaluated the combination of tislelizumab (anti-PD-1), bevacizumab, and chemotherapy as first-line treatment for persistent, recurrent, or metastatic cervical cancer. The objective response rate and disease control rate were 91.5% (95% CI 79.6-97.6) and 100% (92.5-100.0), respectively, with 18-months duration of response rate 51,5%. The median progression-free survival was 22.6 months (95% CI 14.6-NR). The treatment was well tolerated. The authors conclude that the combination of tislelizumab, bevacizumab, and chemotherapy demonstrated promising activity and favorable safety as first-line treatment for persistent, recurrent, or metastatic cervical cancer.
