Multicenter phase 2 trial of BL-B01D1 for locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma refractory to standard therapies

BL-B01D1 is a first-in-class EGFR-HER3 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate with Ed-04 as payload. The multicenter phase 2 BL-B01D1 trial in China evaluated BL-B01D1 for locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma (LA/M UC) after progression on systemic therapies. BL-B01D1 2.2 mg/kg on days 1 and 8 of 3-week cycles showed promising preliminary efficacy and a favorable safety profile. The authors conclude that BL-B01D1 could be a promising new agent for patients with LA/M UC with few treatment options.
