Multicenter phase 2 study of camrelizumab plus famitinib for advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma

Prof. Ding-Wei Ye

A multicenter phase 2 study in China evaluated the combination of the immune checkpoint blocker camrelizumab and the angiogenesis inhibitor famitinib for advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma. The median follow-up was 16.5 months. Objective response was seen in 84.6% of treatment-naïve patients and 48.0% in pre-treated patients. Median progression-free survival was not reached in the group of treatment-naïve patients and was 13.4 months in pre-treated patients. No treatment-related deaths occurred, and no new safety signals were observed.
