Multicenter phase 1b trial of perioperative adebrelimab plus chemotherapy for stage II-III non-small cell lung cancer

Adebrelimab (SHR-1316) is a PD-L1 antibody. A multicenter phase 1b study in China evaluated preoperative adebrelimab plus nab-paclitaxel and carboplatin, followed by resection and adjuvant adebrelimab, in stage II or III NSCLC patients. Toxicities were manageable. Over 50% of patients achieved major pathologic response, and 30% achieved pathologic complete response. Twelve-month event-free survival rate was 77.8%.
