Multicenter phase 1b-2 study of olutasidenib for relapsed or refractory IDH1-mutant glioma
Dr. Macarena de la Fuente
Olutasidenib (FT2102) is a highly potent, orally bioavailable, brain-penetrant, selective inhibitor of mutant isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1). A multicenter phase 1b-2 study evaluated olutasidenib for relapsed or refractory gliomas harboring an R123X mutation of IDH1. There were no dose-limiting toxicities. In the response-evaluable population, disease control rate (partial response or stable disease for at least 4 months) was 48%. The authors conclude that olutasidenib was well tolerated and demonstrated activity in this heavily pretreated population.
