Multicenter phase 1 trial of IBI343 for advanced gastric or gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma with CLDN18.2 expression

Aberrant expression of claudin18.2 (CLDN18.2) has frequently been observed in gastric and gastroesophageal junction (G/GEJ) adenocarcinoma. IBI343 is an antibody-drug conjugate consisting of a CLDN18.2-targeted antibody and a exatecan payload. A multicenter phase 1 trial in China evaluated IBI343 for advanced G/GEJ adenocarcinoma with CLDN18.2 expression. IBI343 was well tolerated, with a manageable safety profile and promising efficacy.
