Multicenter phase 1 study of garsorasib for non-small cell lung cancer with G12C mutated KRAS
Prof. Shun Lu
Garsorasib (D-1553) is an orally available potent and selective inhibitor of KRASG12C. A multicenter phase 1 study in China evaluated garsorasib for KRASG12C mutated NSCLC. Most of the adverse events were manageable, and the patients tolerated the study treatment well. Among the patients evaluable for response at the recommended phase 2 dose (garsorasib 600 mg twice daily), the ORR was 38.7% and the DCR was 90.3%, with median DOR and PFS of 6.9 months and 7.6 months, respectively. The authors conclude that garsorasib is a promising therapeutic option for patients with KRAS G12C-mutated NSCLC.
