Multicenter phase 1-2 trial of monalizumab plus durvalumab for advanced solid tumors

The combination of monalizumab (anti-NKG2A/CD94) and durvalumab (anti-PD-L1) may promote antitumor immunity by targeting innate and adaptive immunity. A multicenter phase 1-2 trial evaluated the combination of monalizumab and durvalumab for previously treated, advanced solid tumors (cervical cancer, metastatic microsatellite stable colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, microsatellite stable endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer). Although the activity was modest, the treatment was well tolerated and resulted in encouraging immune activation in the peripheral blood and the tumor microenvironment.
