Long-term outcomes of nivolumab plus ipilimumab in patients with melanoma brain metastases

Final results of the multicenter phase 2 CheckMate 204 study show that the combination of nivolumab plus ipilimumab resulted in durable 3-year response, progression-free survival, and overall survival rates among patients with asymptomatic melanoma brain metastases (MBMs). Symptomatic disease in patients with MBMs remains difficult to treat, but some patients achieved a long-term response with the combination.
