Long-term follow-up of CD19-CAR T-cell therapy in children and young adults with B-ALL

A multicenter phase 1 trial in the USA investigated long-term (median follow-up 4.8 years) outcomes of CD19 CAR T-cell therapy in children and young adults with B-ALL. CAR T-cell therapy followed by allogeneic hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation mediated durable disease control in a sizable fraction of CAYAs with relapsed or refractory B-ALL.
