ICIs versus chemotherapy, both combined with RT, after resection of brain metastases from NSCLC

Patients with brain metastases from non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC BMs) have regularly been excluded from prospective trials of immune checkpoint inhibition. A study in Germany investigated overall survival with ICIs plus radiotherapy versus chemotherapy plus radiotherapy after resection of NSCLC BMs. The median overall survival was significantly longer in the ICI plus RT group compared with the chemotherapy plus RT group.
