HRQOL with neratinib plus capecitabine for MBC after two prior HER2-directed regimens

The multinational phase 3 NALA study randomized patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer after two prior HER2-directed regimens to neratinib plus capecitabine versus lapatinib plus capecitabine. In 2020 the primary end point was published, showing a significantly improved PFS in the N+C group over the L+C group. HRQOL analysis of the study has now been published. Patients treated with N+C maintained their global HRQOL over time, despite a worsening of the diarrhea-related scores.
