Four-year outcomes after three years ribociclib plus endocrine therapy for HR-positive/HER2-negative early breast cancer

The multinational phase 3 NATALEE trial randomized patients with HR-positive/HER2-negative early breast cancer to 3 years ribocilib plus 5 years of nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor (NSAI) (n=2526) or NSAI alone (n=2441). Exploratory analysis of the trial found that in the year after stopping ribociclib the absolute invasive disease-free survival benefit continued to increase in the ribociclib plus NSAI group over the NSAI alone group (visual abstract).
