The multinational phase III PACIFIC trial included patients with unresectable, stage III NSCLC whose disease had not progressed up to six weeks after chemoradiotherapy. The patients were randomized to consolidation with durvalumab or placebo. Updated, exploratory analyses of survival approximately five years after the last patient was randomly assigned show robust and sustained OS and PFS benefit with durvalumab as compared to placebo. At five years, an estimated 42.9% of patients in the durvalumab group remained alive and 33.1% remained alive and free of disease progression.
