The multinational phase 3 IMpower150 study (240 centers in 26 countries) randomized patients with previously not systemically treated metastatic nonsquamous NSCLC to 4 to 6 cycles of atezolizumab plus carboplatin and paclitaxel (ACP), bevacizumab plus carboplatin and paclitaxel (BCP), or atezolizumab plus bevacizumab plus carboplatin and paclitaxel (ABCP). Final OS analyses after median 39.8 months of follow-up showed numerical, but not statistically significant improved OS with ACP versus BCP (median 19.0 versus 14.7 months; HR 0.84; 95% CI 0.71-1.00) and statistically significant OS benefit with ABCP versus BCP (median 15.5 versus 14.7 months; HR 0.80; 95% CI 0.67-0.95).
