Expansion results of a multinational phase 1b study of naporafenib plus trametinib in NRAS-mutant melanoma
Prof. Adil Daud
Immune checkpoint inhibitors are currently the standard-of-care treatment for patients with advanced NRAS-mutant melanoma. However, on progression no currently available therapy produces meaningful responses. A multinational phase 1b trial evaluated the combination of the pan-RAF inhibitor naporafenib and the MEK inhibitor trametinib for advanced NRAS-mutated melanoma after progression on prior standard treatment. In the expansion phase of the trial, the combination had promising preliminary antitumor activity and a manageable safety profile.
