Dose-dense brentuximab vedotin plus ICE-chemotherapy for second-line treatment of R/R cHL
Prof. Ajay Gopal
Relapsed or refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma (R/R cHL) could be treated with multiagent salvage chemotherapy followed by autologous hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation. A phase 1-2 study at the University of Washington (Seattle) found that among patients with R/R cHL, second-line dose-dense brentuximab vedotin in combination with ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide chemotherapy resulted in complete response after two cycles of treatment in 74% of patients. The safety profile was acceptable.
