An observational cohort study based on data in the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research registry compared three commonly used conditioning regimes in patients undergoing autologous hematopoietic cell transplant for PCNSL. Thiothepa-based regimes were associated with higher rates of survival compared with BEAM. TT-BCNU compared with TBC was associated with higher relapse risk, lower non-relapse mortality risk, and similar risk of all cause mortality more than six months after HCT.
