Acquired resistance to TKI is an important challenge in the management of EGFR-mutated lung cancer. A phase 2 study at the University of Hong Kong evaluated the combination of atezolizumab, bevacizumab, pemetrexed, and carboplatin for EGFR-mutated mNSCLC after failure of EGFR-TKI. In this heavily pretreated population the ORR was 62.5%, the median PFS was 9.4 months, and one-year OS rate was 72.5%. The regimen had less toxicity compared with the IMPower150 regimen.
