Childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia: results of the Intercontinental Berlin-Frankfurt-Münster 2009 trial
Dr. Myriam Campbell
The randomized Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Intercontinental Berlin-Frankfurt-Münster 2009 trial found that among patients with pediatric ALL, inclusion of MRD data improved risk-based treatment, while early intensification of treatment did not improve survival, and low dose methothrexate (2 g/m2), every two weeks for four doses, was equally effective as high dose (5 g/m2), every two weeks for four doses, among patients with precursor B-cell ALL.
