Brentuximab vedotin and risk-adapted residual node radiation for pediatric high-risk Hodgkin lymphoma
Dr. Monika Metzger
A multicenter study in the USA evaluated brentuximab vedotin replacing vincristine in the OEPA/COPDac regime for frontline treatment of pediatric high-risk classical Hodgkin lymphoma. Among 77 patients enrolled in the study, 27 (35%) achieved complete remission at early response assessment and were spared residual node radiation. Three-year EFS and OS were 97.4% (SE 2.3%) and 98.7% (SE 1.6%).
