Dr. Inge van der Sluis
KMT2A-rearranged ALL is an aggressive disease with 3-year event-free survival rate below 40%. A phase 2 multinational trial evaluated safety and efficacy of blinatumomab, a bispecific T-cell engager molecule targeting CD19, plus chemotherapy for newly diagnosed KMT2A-rearranged ALL in infants. The treatment was safe and had a high level of efficacy compared with historical controls who only received chemotherapy (quick take video summary).
