Association of circulating AR gene amplification with resistance of mCRPC to Lu-177-PSMA-617

A phase 2 trial in Italy found that ¹⁷⁷Lu-PSMA-617 treated mCRPC patients with circulating AR gene gain had an elevated chance of early progressive disease (within 4 months from start of treatment) compared with patients without AR gene gain (OR 16.00; p=0.007). AR-gained patients had shorter PFS and OS compared with AR-normal patients.
