Anatomic locations of procedurally treated keratinocyte carcinomas in the Medicare population
Dr. Mackenzie Wehner
Keratinocyte carcinomas (KCs) are the most common cancers in the US. However, KCs are nog included in US national cancer registries, and information on the anatomic locations of KCs is lacking. A cohort study using deidentified data from the Medicare population database found that among Medicare beneficiaries aged 65 years of older, the most common location of KCs was the head and/or neck, followed by the upper limbs.
