Amivantamab for EGFR exon 20 insertion-mutated NSCLC progressing on platinum chemotherapy
Prof. Byoung Chul Cho
NSCLC with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations is resistant to approved TKIs. Amivantamab is an EGFR-MET bispecific antibody with immune cell-directing activity. The multinational phase 1 CHRYSALIS study evaluated amivantamab for metastatic or unresectable NSCLC with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations. The treatment resulted in overall response in 40% of the patients. Toxicity was manageable.
