Addition of isatuximab to lenalidomide-bortzomib-dexamethasone induction for transplantation-eligible newly diagnosed multiple myeloma

Part 1 of the phase 3 GMMG-HD7 trial, at 67 centers in Germany, evaluated MRD negativity rate impact of addition of isatuximab to lenalidomide-bortezomib-dexamethasone induction for transplantation-eligible newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. MRD negativity was seen in 50% of patients after isatuximab-lenalidomide-bortezomib-dexamethasone induction versus 36% after lenalidomine-bortezomib-dexamethasone induction (OR 1.82; p=0.00017). There were no new safety signals.
